California's Channel Islands are one of my favorite places to dive. This island chain, which stretches 140 miles from Santa Barbara to nearly San Diego, offers amazing density and diversity of life.

These photographs are my favorites and were taken on a number of trips on Truth Aquatic's 'Vision' over the last few years.

Photographs were taken with a several cameras: an Olympus 4040 digital camera in a Tetra housing, a Nikon N90 film camera in a Nexus housing and a Nikon D-70 digital SLR in a Nexus housing. Two Sea & Sea YS-120 strobes were used for underwater lighting.
